This week at Briscoe PR - 22nd September 2025

Speak to a Consultant

This week at Briscoe PR was packed with plenty of networking, business development, and the potential for exciting new opportunities.

Kevin spent the early part of the week with Peer2Peer at a strategy day held at Queen’s Wood, a private executive home on the Wentworth Estate in Surrey. It was great to spend time with others in the network and to have a packed agenda curated by Simon H-C and John Acton.

Later in the week, Kevin swapped strategy for the races at Goodwood Racecourse for the Bizpedia Annual Conference, where all the groups came together for networking. He caught up with Ali Fielder, Josh Williams and lots of other new and old contacts on the day. He almost broke even on the horses with two winners making up for the other five selections!

Becca travelled to London on Thursday for the Hootsuite x Talkwalker Social Breakfast, diving into the latest insights and trends shaping the world of social media. She also spent time networking and met Socheata Chhea from London Metropolitan University, learning more about how they use Hootsuite in practice.

Becca also drafted and issued press releases for clients, helping to share their latest news with media and audiences.

Bella attended the Parallel Music Conference at Heartbreakers in Southampton, learning about marketing and visual branding in the music industry whilst networking with fellow creatives.

Charlie spent a couple of days working from the University of Portsmouth library, surrounded by freshers finding their way around campus and feeling a little nostalgic about student life. Charlie has also been busy prepping brand guidelines for a client to ensure that our Reels and social content remain consistent.

Harriet swapped the office for a trip to Dublin – taking some time out to explore the city.

The Briscoe PR team carried out copy reviews across all client content calendars, making sure content for October is all ready to go!

The whole team came together to support the Macmillan Coffee Morning at Arena Offices’ Lancaster Court building in Fareham, enjoying plenty of delicious brownies and cakes whilst raising funds for a brilliant cause.
