Our team has worked in-house at large travel companies and even write for travel publications. They have vast knowledge and contacts across consumer and trade media to get you heard in all the right places.
Food and drink
We are foodies here so love to shout out all things food and drink especially when working with local producers/suppliers. Some of our clients in this field include an artisan hamper producer, craft gin distiller and a local coffee supplier - which is great for us in the office!
One of our longest standing clients is Royal Hospital School in Suffolk running award-winning campaigns to encourage uptake on a charitable bursary and applicants for places at the school. We have great contacts in the industry finding the stories that get the best news coverage and social media engagement.
Public sector/emergency services
Our team has run PR campaigns and the press office function for local authorities as well as creating content for the huge audience that public sector organisations need to communicate with. Our MD managed the communications team at Hampshire Police for many years before setting up Briscoe PR.
Being based on a marina has given us great standing with the maritime industry and we are perfectly placed to keep our fingers on the maritime pulse. We have worked with several businesses in this sector to re-write their website copy and manage their social media platforms while they are sailing all over the world.
We are lucky enough to work with NATS. Over the years we have run their press office, supported their public affairs and assisted them with crisis communications. We also work with the national aviation industry group managing its profile and ensuring its voice is heard in the airspace modernisation programme.
I attended one of the Briscoe PR half-day workshops on public relations and social media in 2018 and it really opened my eyes to just what is possible for a business like mine. Last month we attended a half-day social media training course with Kevin. What attracted me to this company was the opportunity to have the course tailored to us, rather than be generic.
