This week at Briscoe PR - 13th October 2025

Speak to a Consultant

This week at Briscoe PR has been another busy and exciting one for the team — filled with content creation, collaboration, and connection!

On Sunday, Bella and Kevin attended the Ideal Collection Trade Show, capturing photo and video content from the staff training evening. The event was packed with energy, featuring suppliers sharing in-depth knowledge about their products. It’s perfect for showing the behind-the-scenes expertise and passion that goes into the hospitality experience.

Bella and Charlie were at Westlands Farm Shop in Wickham for their monthly meeting — now with a refreshed structure focused on forward planning and future strategy. Instead of just reviewing past content, the team looks ahead to what’s coming next — helping the client stay proactive and ready for every seasonal opportunity. Of course, they couldn’t leave without getting some photos of the huge pumpkins on-site!

Becca headed to Boathouse Chichester to film video content with the General Manager, chatting all things wine pairings and menu highlights. These short-form videos add personality and depth to the brand’s digital presence — bringing in the expertise of the people behind the business and giving followers that human touch that makes hospitality marketing shine.

Meanwhile, Harriet visited Boathouse Swanwick, filming with Ideal Collection Executive Chef Matt Whitfield. They discussed the upcoming Meet the Producer event, shining a spotlight on the local suppliers who make the menus so special. This kind of storytelling strengthens community ties and reinforces the brand’s local, authentic identity.

Also on Tuesday, Kevin attended a Bizpedia Board Meeting at the Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, followed by a networking lunch in The Kitchen. Events like these are invaluable for expanding connections, discussing ideas with fellow business leaders, and keeping a finger on the pulse of the wider business community.

Later in the week, Kevin gave a presentation on Personal Brand at the University of Portsmouth’s Centre for Enterprise, sharing insight into how business leaders can leverage visibility, storytelling, and authenticity to strengthen their reputation. He also had the chance to catch up with Zoe Hanson from The Podcast Lady. It’s always great to connect with other communications professionals!

Charlie also caught up with Kevin for their 1:1 at the University of Portsmouth Business School — a bit of a nostalgic visit for Charlie, who used to attend lectures there herself! These regular check-ins are key to ensuring team development, idea sharing, and keeping creativity flowing across projects.

Harriet and Becca met up for a remote co-working session at Arena Offices’ Grosvenor House in Basingstoke. It’s always great to mix up the working environment and catch up in person. These sessions are all about collaboration and cross-project brainstorming, bringing fresh ideas and keeping our client campaigns aligned.
