This week at Briscoe PR…
Last Friday, the Briscoe PR team headed to Giggling Squid in Portsmouth for our Christmas meal. Delicious Thai food, Secret Santa gifts and plenty of laughs made it the perfect way to celebrate another busy year together.
On Monday, the festive cheer continued as Becca and Bella brought in homemade Christmas treats (huge thanks to their mums!) — a very sweet way to kick off the week in the office.
On Thursday, Kevin and Becca were in Basingstoke, hosting a content review at Arena Offices’ Grosvenor House before heading to Hook for client meetings with StorTrec. These sessions are all about reflecting on what’s worked, refining messaging and aligning content with business goals as we look ahead to 2026.
Bella visited The White Horse in Otterbourne, filming videos with the manager, Nicole, to promote upcoming events including New Year’s Eve, Burns Night and a gin tasting evening. This kind of on-camera, personality-led content helps venues connect with audiences and drive footfall during the winter period.
Harriet has been busy writing January content to ensure clients have a strong start to the year, alongside a client visit to Tektraders focused on 2026 strategy planning. She also completed her first apprenticeship assignment, a big milestone as she continues to develop her PR skills.
Behind the scenes, Sam has been preparing for her annual leave, making sure everything is in place ahead of the Christmas break. This included holding 1:1s with the team to check in and offer support, alongside managing accounts, payroll and admin, completing end-of-quarter activities, finalising the Q1 2026 plan, and ensuring all content is scheduled and ready to go.
Charlie has been organising meetings and content days for January, making sure we hit the ground running in the new year. She also had a HubSpot catch-up with Ross, working through priorities and final tweaks to be completed before Christmas to keep our systems running smoothly.
Kevin and Bella ended the week at Harold Hillier Gardens, seeing the Light Up Trail event in Romsey!
