Another exciting and eventful week for the Briscoe PR team, filled with networking, award celebrations, client successes, and professional development!

⚽️ Networking at Fratton Park with a Side of Car Trouble!

Kevin attended a Network My Club event at Fratton Park, home of Portsmouth FC. The event featured guest speaker Colin Farmery from the Pompey History Society, who shared fascinating insights into the club’s rich history. Kevin even picked up a copy of Colin’s book to continue the learning. However, the day didn’t go entirely to plan when a puncture on the way added some unexpected drama to the trip!

📍 A Trip Down Memory Lane in Petersfield

Kevin was also in Petersfield this week for a meeting with a potential new client. This visit was particularly special as Kevin worked as the chief reporter for the Petersfield Post more than 35 years ago. A quick wander around the town brought back some great memories before getting down to business!

🏆 Portsmouth News Business Excellence Awards

A big night for our clients! Bella and Charlotte attended the Portsmouth News Business Excellence Awards, where two of our fantastic clients were finalists. The Big Eat was a finalist for Visitor Attraction of the Year and Westlands Farm Shop won Retailer of the Year!

A huge congratulations to both clients – we love seeing their success celebrated in the local business community!

🤖 AI in PR Training with CIPR

Louise and Hattie attended the second part of their AI in PR course with the CIPR, deepening their knowledge of how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of public relations. Learning how to effectively integrate AI tools into PR strategies is a game-changer, allowing us to enhance content creation, streamline research, and improve campaign performance for our clients.

From networking and awards nights to continued learning and exciting client projects, it’s been another busy and rewarding week at Briscoe PR! 🎉
